Core 
Everyone come prepared before class by:
  1. Read Doctrine and Covenants 88:78-80. Why do we have a responsibility to know about and understand "...things which have been, things which are...; ... things which are abroad; the wars and the perplexities of the nations...; and a knowledge of countries and of kingdoms..."?
  2. What impact has India or China had on the world in the past? 
  3. What impact do they have on the world now? 
  4. Bring a discussion question to share.
Journeyman
If you choose to work on level 2, you should complete level 1 first.


  1. Create and bring something to share with the class, that allows us to use our senses to experience India or China. Choose at least 1 of the following:
    • holidays
    • foods
    • customs
    • culture
    • art or music
    • significant landmarks
    • notable people 
    • anything else of you interest
Master
If you choose to work on level 3, please complete levels 1 and 2 first.
  1. Create a time line and plot dates and events you have learned about.
  2. Print and mark on a map of Asia where China and India are at and their capitals and at least 1 geographic landmark for each country.
